(Spoiler) "The Witty Prison Life" in 1960! A little visual appreciation + routine summary

I'm in love with this director!

Let's count him as a secret room movie, the scene is fixed, the staff is almost unchanged, a wonderful script, beyond the completion of the mediocre creative environment.

As far as the story itself goes, the simplicity of the four eldest brothers is the only loophole in their strict escape plan.

What kind of sand sculpture is it compared to Shawshank? Although the latter has the style and imprint of the hole, the two have different profound themes.

First post my favorite two excellent visual scenes:

Let's look at the use of witty routines in the middle of the last century. With some improvements, modern movies can play a lot of tricks.

I learned a lot of carpentry knowledge... Excited

How to make a cat-eye monitor with a toothbrush handle + mirror fragments:

When there is nowhere to hide:

Getting Started with Rough Hourglass Timer:

Using a scarf to pass the two jars in the infirmary,

Grab two handfuls of sand, and when asked by the guards about the use:

How to transfer items between adjacent prison cells:

When the hinge of the gate is sawed off, how to restore it

When smashing the wall, I deliberately checked the difference between reinforced concrete and inferior cement...

"Concrete is concrete. Reinforced concrete is concrete with steel bars in it. Reinforced concrete generally refers to structures. Concrete structures include plain concrete, reinforced concrete, rubble concrete and other structures."

It took so long to smash...

However, no matter how superb the method is, the director still wants to make your beautiful vision burp. The last piece of self-closing source is funny.

Going to have a barbecue, I'll make it up

Prison break movies hit their peak right from the start.

The first intuition is unmistakably Bressonian: the laconic silence of the narrative, the audience knowing less than the show's people, and the repetition and amplification of a process. But the saw door in "Last Escape" is very covert and patient, while the excavation in "The Hole" is bold and precise. Furthermore, the vision of the former is set up around people, and the vision of the latter is set up around the prison cell, which also implies the ultimate fate of the fugitives.
