heart hole

An exquisite script, mainly in the form of recording and presentation, with only a few fixed indoor scenes, neat composition, clear black and white, just like a miniature society in a prison; the underground is not naturally lit, so it captures the superficial phenomena of life to a certain extent rather than focusing on the hearts of the characters. The prominence of the world simply avoids the background introduction of most characters, directly avoids the imposition of excessive emotions and views of good and evil, but better mobilizes the audience's mood; the film does not have a soundtrack, instead, a large number of fixed long-lens shooting, mining and percussion processes are used. Every percussion is more and more nerve-wracking, and the prisoners' perspective is infinitely substituted. The sense of oppression arises spontaneously, and every step is pressing and gripping. The hope is more unpredictable than the rugged sewers is the human heart, more treacherous than the dark and damp basement is the human nature, the prisoners always have infinite wisdom The scenes presented by more than a dozen prison guards pushed the film to a climax (they naively thought they could escape) and ended in a tragic ending of absurdity and despair.

PS: Ronald played in his true colors. He escaped from prison three times, and the last time he escaped was when he instigated four other roommates together, which was adapted by director Jacques Baker into this story, and he played the role himself, explaining the opening confession, the beginning and the end. Photos enhance the authenticity of the story!
