I opened this movie because I saw ten movies recommended by a respondent from Zhihu, and I picked this one that seemed to be the one I wanted to watch.
The reason for recommendation is that the absurd comedy style expresses the other side of religion.
I don't know why Brian called his mother to be a male. In one scene, a person was punished by being stoned to death for uttering the name Jehovah. Among the people who are responding, part of them are women pretending to be men.
It was released in 1979, and it has already made the scene of aliens, flying out of the earth, being hit and flying back...it’s funny.
Brian didn't want to believe that he was a Roman, so he joined the Jewish Union in an attempt to overthrow the Roman rule. However, the leader of this organization is one, just say nothing.
