The ubiquitous human kindness and selfish desire

There is nothing purely beautiful in the world. How much is gained will be lost. Good thoughts and selfish desires are not far apart, they only exist in one body. There is a spiritual master in us. When the master puts his attention away from his own body, he will treat the world with kindness and tenderness, but when the master puts his attention on himself, he will There will be endless selfishness. So we are always shocked by the behavior of those who give selflessly, because we can't do it, we can't give up our selfish desires and choose not to live for ourselves. The essence of human nature is selfish desire. If selfish desire will eventually produce evil results, then it is right that selfishness is inherently evil. Then we have good intentions, and these good intentions are all born from the perspective of bystanders, and we cannot see those tragic people and things.

My mother often told me that people should not live so clearly, it is good to be silly. But I can't help but try to figure out the ultimate source. The color of heaven has only tested three people. One is his father. Obviously, Muhammad's father failed to suppress his own desires and wanted to abandon Muhammad as a fuel bottle. He was thinking about his own life and wanted to continue his marriage to meet his physical needs. The second person to be tested is the teacher. No one will let themselves be burdened by the pity of others and find some trouble for themselves. The third person to be tested was the woman that Muhammad's father was going to marry, not out of love or sincere affection. The marriage was a failure.

Only the innocent love that does not involve selfish desires is the most beautiful part of the whole film. Mohammed gave his grandma and sisters what he thought was the best, and it was full of love. If this happiness is to continue, one person must be sacrificed, and that is the father of the family. He didn't make a big mistake, people didn't kill the world for himself, he just didn't accept his fate, didn't want to sacrifice himself, didn't think about touching himself, just wanted to live a good life. Not much wrong. Maybe he went to pick up Muhammad just out of fear of retribution and did something that was not blessed by Allah. Only at the last moment I think he finally understood the fate of the more tragic Muhammad.

The Color of Paradise quotes

  • Mohammad: [crying] Our teacher says that God loves the blind more because they can't see. But I told him if it was so, He would not make us blind so that we can't see Him. He answered "God is not visible. He is everywhere. You can feel Him. You see Him through your fingertips." / Now I reach out everywhere for God till the day my hands touch Him and tell Him everything, even all the secrets in my heart.

  • Mohammad: [crying] Nobody loves me because I'm blind.
