cherish happiness

I saw this movie tonight, and it is an appreciation of works recommended by the study of visual impairment. The movie is very touching, and the plot setting is just enough. However, because of Muhammad's visual impairment, he must touch the world with his hands, feel the wind, feel the water, feel the sunlight, and feel the world with his heart. In his mind, the world is pure and beautiful. He is full of curiosity about the world. My mood followed his mood at the same time, and suddenly I discovered that there are many beautiful things in the world, and many things that I can't see but can't find. We are very happy to have light, to see how happy the world is. His conversation with the carpenter really touched me, it was what he always wanted to say, and it was a portrayal of a fragile heart hidden under his strong exterior. He said he has always believed that God is the most gentle and merciful. So he never gave up chanting to attract the world, even if he couldn't see it. In the last scene of the film, Muhammad, who was dying on the coast by the rapids, held the sun in his hand. The sun was so warm that it seemed like a gift to a strong child when it hit Muhammad's hand.

The Color of Paradise quotes

  • Mohammad: [crying] Our teacher says that God loves the blind more because they can't see. But I told him if it was so, He would not make us blind so that we can't see Him. He answered "God is not visible. He is everywhere. You can feel Him. You see Him through your fingertips." / Now I reach out everywhere for God till the day my hands touch Him and tell Him everything, even all the secrets in my heart.

  • Mohammad: [crying] Nobody loves me because I'm blind.
