Heaven I have been to, colors I have seen

One of the national customs and taboos in Iran is that it is forbidden to talk about the color of the eyes of newborn children.

But I believe Muhammad would have preferred someone to kiss his eyelashes in a compliment and say, "My child, your eyes are so beautiful." The color of his eyes is the color of heaven. Because Muhammad was blind, he could not see the sun when he was born.
All the children in the school for the blind, except Mohamed, were picked up by their parents who were waiting outside. Although they can't see or see their parents' smiles with their own eyes, through kisses and hugs, they seem to have a sense of belonging at home. Muhammad still had to sit on the bench for a long time and wait. It's both tense and exciting.

Eighty percent of human information comes from the eyes, and blind people are born without this way of receiving information, so they can only mobilize other senses to touch and listen to the world. Muhammad's world is not as drab as we think. He heard the whine of chicks in the woods and the wild cats in the distance salivate. He can protect the birds in his own power. But as a blind child, he may not know where he is going.

In the most moving scenes of the movie, Mohammed finally touched his father's hand after losing his confidence. He was familiar with the lines on his father's palm, and he burst into tears - "I thought you would not come". Such children are undoubtedly sensitive, and their inherent disability prevents them from seeing the color of life. Inferiority and helplessness are everywhere in the dark vision. Only at the moment when I feel that my relatives are not leaving, can I truly regain the figuration of life, revealing undisguised anxiety and vulnerability. The still shot makes the nose sour.

It is said that the United Kingdom has fascinating rural scenery, and after watching "The Colors of Heaven", I filled my heart with the idyllic scenery of Iran. Mohammad felt warm after watching the scene where he shared gifts with his grandmother and friends on the grass. This is a village belonging to the elderly and children. Each of us has had such innocence.

In the final scene, Muhammad reaches out and fiddles with the sun. Just a child, and Allah is a child too, watching us from somewhere we can't see or grasp. He would cry for those children, but he would not admit his mistakes.

Blind child, I really want to know if the tears from your dull eyes are loaded with a beautiful and sad world.
You don't have to cry, maybe it's because you've seen heaven, and Allah doesn't have the heart to let you see this unsatisfactory world, even if he does, it's still unsatisfactory.
Allah loves you.

And people in this world, they want to know the color of heaven.

The Color of Paradise quotes

  • Mohammad: [crying] Our teacher says that God loves the blind more because they can't see. But I told him if it was so, He would not make us blind so that we can't see Him. He answered "God is not visible. He is everywhere. You can feel Him. You see Him through your fingertips." / Now I reach out everywhere for God till the day my hands touch Him and tell Him everything, even all the secrets in my heart.

  • Mohammad: [crying] Nobody loves me because I'm blind.
