Eight-year-old Mohsen Ramezani is the most diligent child in the school for the blind, and his visual impairment has not hindered his unique sensibility to the wonderful natural things. He often uses his hands to find God in his heart. However, fate likes to joke with him. Years after his mother left, his father (Hossein Mahjoub) decided to get rid of his oil bottle in order to remarry.
His father brought Moman home from the school for the blind. In his hometown, Moman received sincere love from his grandmother (Salameh Feyzi) and two younger sisters, and felt the happiness hidden in the beautiful scenery. Happiness is always temporary. He was then dragged by his father and sent to a blind carpenter as an apprentice...

At the end of the film, Muhammad's small hands trembled slightly, indicating that he was still alive and brave, and the warm sunlight of creamy yellow finally made him feel and touch God's hand I especially

Little boy, father, grandma, teacher, carpenter, every character in the movie is simple. The storytelling is also extremely simple, and it can even be said that there is no skill at all. However, such a simple film can touch the hearts of the audience more than those fancy sci-fi blockbusters, which shows that the power of truth, goodness and beauty is really powerful.

The Color of Paradise quotes

  • Mohammad: [crying] Our teacher says that God loves the blind more because they can't see. But I told him if it was so, He would not make us blind so that we can't see Him. He answered "God is not visible. He is everywhere. You can feel Him. You see Him through your fingertips." / Now I reach out everywhere for God till the day my hands touch Him and tell Him everything, even all the secrets in my heart.

  • Mohammad: [crying] Nobody loves me because I'm blind.
