I feel it, not a movie review. I wrote a review that exceeds the number of words.

The common problem of modern people is that they are struggling in the busy metropolis every day. Everyone is working hard to create a better living environment for themselves. The only thing missing is the feeling of enjoying life. Brad is lucky in the play. He has a simple and ordinary wife, "simple is true" and a son who loves him. It is normal for a father and son to quarrel a bit in life. What is rare is that after the quarrel, the two sides understand each other, and the father and son communicate with each other. Respect, show that life is still good. Brad's troubles in the play are the same as those of most of his peers now. He is the backbone of the family, so he has to think about the whole family, which causes him to have some extreme thoughts at times, especially when talking to his wife about the undies. Inheriting their parents' inheritance, it reflects their desire for wealth, which is also a manifestation of lack of security. In short, the ending is beautiful. The whole movie is narrated in a third-person tone, and finally ends with Dvorak's humorous song. It feels like the audience leaving when the movie is over, which sets off the story and the years in the play. It feels like drinking a bowl of thick chicken soup, and the whole is cured.

Brad's Status quotes

  • Brad Sloan: [narrating] Her friend, Maya was equally captivating, equally compelling. I suddenly felt a deep grief... for all the women I would never love and all the lives I would never live. I imaging running away with them both and starting again and what that might look like.

  • Troy Sloan: When we were walking around today and you embarrassing me, I kept thinking, like, you know, if I go to this school, everybody here's gonna remember this and I'm never gonna live this down. But... you know, they're not gonna remember. Because, everybody's just thinking about themselves. You know? Nobody cares. Like, the only person that's thinking about you, is me, so... the only person's opinion that you should really care about is mine.

Brad Sloan: Yeah. What's your opinion?

Troy Sloan: Well, I love you.

    Brad Sloan: Thank you.
