Honestly I'm not that much of a reviewer, and I'm not at the age of Brad's midlife crisis, but couldn't help but want to say something.
From the storyline of the movie, I saw the family, the father, the mother, the wife, the children, everyone, every different state. In the process of watching the movie, many words appeared in my mind, such as comparison, envy, self-esteem, irony, jealousy, self-confidence, contentment, letting go of self, etc. Maybe everyone's understanding is different, but when I hear "You're 50 years old, and you still think that the world was made for you." This sentence, when I heard Dvorak's "Scherzo" sounded, was so ironic and tongue-in-cheek, my whole body got goosebumps pimple. I have to say that no matter who sees this film, there will be a sense of substitution that follows. When you are Brad, what do you think? what will you do?
Of course, I really liked his dialogue with Craig Fisher, and the foreshadowing he gave to Jason, from full of confidence to surprise, to embarrassment to bursting, and finally to the mess of self-esteem. The complex changes in my heart are really emotional. However, I still admire that Brad in the play handled it well and left without losing his dignity.
From the perspective of acting, I have to admire Ben Stiller's skills. He really played the characters to the fullest. There is also little Troy Austin Abrams, who cooperated well with Lao Tzu, praise!
The video is great, it hits the heart of a certain group of people, and I recommend it to everyone!
