#Electric Phantom# "Brad's Midlife Crisis", you see a small truth, but I know there is a small death there.

A typical mid-life crisis film, the rhythm of the filming is a little slow, it can be said that there is no passion at all, just like the ordinary life of the hero, it is quiet and troubled, melancholy but healthy, and there are easily visible little things. Happiness, but the bright future that belongs to others seems to be smiling at myself in the distance.

Always stand in the crowd to compare, every time I see my own low slope soberly, and then get hurt. Until his son, with his hard work, produced a little charm that can be successful, Brad fell into a deep daydream. From a smooth school to being famous in the world in the future, he seems to see that he has also stood on the top of his life with his son's success, and the pain that followed, no matter how great the glory belongs to his son, in fact, with him Nothing, he's nothing but a father's title. The reality beat him, and the pain in the daydreams was more merciless than the reality. Dealing with various friends, listening to other people's success stories, and living my own hopeless life.

When Brad chatted happily with his son's female friends, he seemed to recall his youth. Those beautiful people and things, the willfulness that I have not had time to enjoy, are exhausted in the wasted years.

In fact, the story of the movie itself, I think it may not be my food, at least the rhythm is not my favorite speed. But it looks sad.

How many days will it take to be young? Our life, the time that can be used for youthfulness and youth is actually very short. The good time you think you hold in your hand is actually fleeting. Don't look at other people's vicissitudes and aging, and don't use mature coats to cover the so-called cool characters. In fact, to put it bluntly, these things will disappear sooner or later. One day, their present is your future. Whether life is good or bad is actually one thing, and the equivalent behind it is time. As long as life continues, all this will become your experience sooner or later.

When I was young, I liked to play a mature role. When I was forced to grow up one day, I would miss it. I was young and ignorant, high-spirited, self-willed and innocent, and I will never return. .

Brad also had the youth, probably failed to enjoy himself in his hopes. We always ignore the beauty in the process, and once we leave, we miss it infinitely. People seem to always only want what they want now, but they don't know what they want in their life.

Most of my feelings about this movie are to stay in sympathy and pity, to be able to understand the reality hurt by the passing time, irreversible, no reply, long way ahead, but can only keep going. Extremely sad. It doesn't matter if life is better or worse. We have finally come this far.

Most of the time I am emotional, and sometimes I feel sad. We will have such a day sooner or later. Or it has already arrived, just waiting for the moment when the door opens, a strong light enters.

The future we face, is all mourning in the distance. In any case, now is your last young time, cherish it.

Brad's Status quotes

  • Brad Sloan: [narrating] Her friend, Maya was equally captivating, equally compelling. I suddenly felt a deep grief... for all the women I would never love and all the lives I would never live. I imaging running away with them both and starting again and what that might look like.

  • Troy Sloan: When we were walking around today and you embarrassing me, I kept thinking, like, you know, if I go to this school, everybody here's gonna remember this and I'm never gonna live this down. But... you know, they're not gonna remember. Because, everybody's just thinking about themselves. You know? Nobody cares. Like, the only person that's thinking about you, is me, so... the only person's opinion that you should really care about is mine.

Brad Sloan: Yeah. What's your opinion?

Troy Sloan: Well, I love you.

    Brad Sloan: Thank you.
