Triumph of the Will is a war documentary produced by UFA Films, directed by Lenny Refenstahl and featuring Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goering, Joseph Goebbels, Rehard Hurley Derich et al. The film mainly records the Reich Congress in Nuremberg in 1934 and was released in Germany on March 28, 1935.

The film is one of the Nazis' methods of creating gods. The neat queue, the venue where the flags are fluttering, the passionate speech, and the magnificent Wagner symphony are in the film. The application of various "collectivist aesthetics" makes it extremely appealing. And it was in this group unconsciousness that Germany went to war. Triumph of the Will was a successful propaganda film, but it's a pity that Leni Refenstahl put her artistic talents to use in the service of Nazi propaganda. Although in 1935, the film's demagoguery effect was truly astonishing.

This notorious film also won the gold award at the Venice Film Festival that year. Of course, with the demise of Nazi Germany, the film has also become a banned film around the world for 55 years. After the ban was lifted, it was mainly used as a criticism of the Nazis. and reflection.

  • Otto Dietrich: Truth is the basis on which the power of the press stands and falls. Our only demand of the foreign press and our own press, is that they report the truth about Germany.
