One of my childhood dreams was to grow up to be a whale trainer
A few years ago, I watched the Shamu show in SD's sea world. I was very happy sitting in the front row and was sprayed with water. When watching the show, the atmosphere of the whole venue was very good, so I felt (maybe that I paralyzed myself?) The killer whales who performed were also happy. I am envious of the trainers who can interact with the killer whales up close.
In recent years, I have watched many similar documentaries and programs. Many of them are based on tilikum. To be honest, when I went to the show, I didn’t think about whether these behemoths were born and grown in artificial environments or were caught. What a free soul that I used to swim in the vast ocean with my family when I caught it back. I went to Iceland and set foot on that land in 2016 to truly understand why this country is called Li. The nearest place to heaven. Tilikum was born and grew up in this sea. Suddenly he was forced to be separated from his family and locked up in a jar not much bigger than his own body. Every day, he was scolded to do some inexplicable things in order not to be hungry and shudder. I really can’t imagine how he feels every time he performs. I don’t know that at the last moment of his life, the vast blue sea of Iceland that once wandered with his family appeared in his mind.
