The benefits of color control

I found this movie while searching for a movie about the massacre of St. Bartholomew.
The costumes and location layout of the film itself are very realistic, which makes me, a history lover, very emotional. And Adjani's appearance has improved the artistic level of the film.
Talking about the content of the movie, this movie is just a romance, and there are some places that are untrue for the sake of brilliance. For example, in the movie, Charles IX was poisoned by his mother with a book stained with venom that he wanted to poison Henry IV. In addition, there is no more discussion of religious conflict in the film that I would like to see. The heroine's love is even more inexplicable. She secretly ran out of the palace and had a relationship with the hero after a shot? Isn't this a plot that only exists in Lifan? So the later love tragedy did not make me feel very moved.
Afterwards, the more anticipated wonderful historical events, the three Henry wars, the establishment of the Bourbon dynasty, the promulgation of the Nantes pardon, etc. had to be terminated on the way that Queen Margot took a carriage to Henri de Bourbon.
