The story takes place in a small place called "Fengkou Town" with a population of only over two thousand. If it were not for the murder, no one would have taken care of it. This small town reveals conservative and decadent, as if time has stopped here. From the time when the protagonist Camille was a child, to returning to the town to report a series of murders, more than ten years have almost stagnated.
The plot is always dream and reality, memories and reality interspersed, through these fragmentary shots, you can find a trace of clues.
Childhood experience has always haunted Camille. In her memory, there was a wood cabin. When she opened the door to enter when she was young, she should have seen a murder scene or a place where the murderer showed off the results of the murder. This is very similar to the place where the first murdered girl "Ann" was found. In other words, serial murders started to happen many years ago.
When Camille went to interview the father of the first victim, "Ann", the father was a bit cold-hearted towards the murder of his daughter. He said that his daughter was not assaulted when he was killed, and he would rather her daughter be killed than to be assaulted. Apparently the father lied, for the sake of himself and his family. Because the place where "Ann" was killed is very similar to the hut in the woods that Camille found when he was a child, there are some "pictures of indecent assault" taken by the murderer in the hut.
Camille's mother has always opposed Camille to investigate the case. There are also many doubts about the death of Camille's sister. Her family is trying to conceal the truth of the matter.
Why would the people in the small town prefer to let the murderers wreak havoc here and keep secrets? Why are they hiding this secret? I am looking forward to the next episodes, to find the truth out of the cocoon.
