i guess i'm just tired of the narrative that it's always tHE RUsSiAnS being the bad guys in American films... i understand it's a cold war background but c'mon built a giant soviet fort under a small town in the US and tried Secret research that opens the door to another world srsly? how the hell did they pull that off?!
I originally wanted to watch some Cthulhu-related stuff, so I picked up S3 again, but this season didn't have any glamour at all... In my vague impression, the plot and atmosphere of S1 are still a bit grubby, the reverse world and monsters are very interesting, and in some places Pretty scary.
