The film tells the story of the football king Pele, a shoe-shine boy from the slums as a child, who overcame many obstacles with his own efforts and turned the corner to become the strongest player in the football world. The film reveals the unknown experience of Bailey before he became famous. The poverty of his family, the indifference of others, and the exclusion of his teammates did not hinder Bailey's growth. The education of his parents has always affected Bailey. One person's counterattack has ignited the fighting spirit of billions of people.
Is Bailey's life an enlarged version of most lives, or that everyone is Bailey, a Bailey who is looked down upon, looked down upon, and excluded by others. In Bailey, China, from elementary school, they were classified and treated differently because of their grades. Bailey's mother was worried that he would repeat the same path as his father, and our parents worried that we would repeat the same path that they walked.
Even so, dreams still follow. Bailey still loves his dream, stealing peanuts for his sneakers and participating in games. But in the end, it paid a price: Bailey's friend died while escaping from the peanut dealer's death. Bailey chose to compromise after experiencing the death of his friend (actually, it was just a fuse), isn't the reason for chasing it not life, not that pair of dream sneakers? Have we ever made a compromise like this? When I was in elementary school and junior high school, I was obedient and studied hard, and then I exchanged my grades for the nectar of my dreams. In the end, most of my dreams dried up.
Afterwards, with the support of parents and school leaders. Bailey returned to the track of his dreams, and Bailey, who was familiar with the road, seemed to be able to reach his ideal, but this was just back on the right track, nothing more.
In the new environment, Bailey still received exclusion and obstacles from different groups of people. The attitude of the coach and teammates made Bailey seem to have returned to his childhood. No matter how hard he tried, he could not be recognized by others, and the seeds of the dream that he had given up began to germinate and grow again. Just like those of us who have just graduated and who have worked for many years, how many times such seeds have been sown in our hearts, and how many times they have even blossomed and bear fruit.
After several twists and turns, Bailey began to understand: any limitation starts from his own heart, and I think it's time to start over. Bailey stood by himself, in his own way. Even if there was another blow during the period and the voice that he wanted to bloom seeds in his heart, he insisted on his own Bailey to complete his dream and fulfilled his childhood promise to his father.
In this world, there are thousands of people every day who are persistently fighting for their goals, but when they have paid all the price but see no hope, they still do not choose to give up, and their fate will not grow old. It protects you, and it will not always ignore you. When it closes a door for you, it will also open a window for you. We can all be Pele and be Pele at the same time.
Learn to let go of other people's eyes and words, and you will suddenly realize that the moon is bright and clear.
Come on Bailey, the movie is good, I recommend it.
