you gotta do what you love

I just finished watching "The Birth of a Legend", and before watching it, I felt anxious and entangled that I really needed such a film. Now, it seems to have got the answer I was looking for.

Bailey's tough and immature face, forbearance and loneliness in training and his release after success, replayed repeatedly in my mind. At the age of fifteen that year, he left his parents and friends and went to the Santos Club to participate in the training camp alone. What he carries is the expectation and uneasiness of chasing his dream, and what awaits him is the cruel and arduous growth journey. He was the only black man on that team. In the process of growing up, there are too many people who gave up helplessly and painfully, and there are too many disasters that stand in front of their dreams, and it is precisely because of the cruel test that they have transformed into the most shining Bailey. . Bailey, was a nickname that was made fun of, and he turned it into glory.

He made two most important decisions: one is to choose his dream, football; the other is to stick to his dream and choose to be the most authentic self, happy football. Those two decisions, one made him a footballer, playing the sport he loves, and the other made him Pele. In addition to the way he finally insisted on his heart and released it boldly, what I noticed more was his hard work, persistence and forbearance day and night. It was this hard work, persistence, and forbearance that finally made him realize his childhood promise: to win the championship for Brazil.

When a person does something he doesn't want to do and can't be his true self, it is against his will. Of course, things don't go as expected. Before you dream, you always have to live. We may always run against our will because of life, family or other reasons. Beneath the tired exterior lies an even more exhausted interior. I don't want to say don't give up on the chicken soup you're after, even if there's even a little hope, it might just give you little ripples that don't hurt. I want to say that my heart is burning with fire. I don't pursue what I want, not only because of the outside world, but also because of the deep inferiority and pain inside me. I tried to struggle, but I was afraid to take that step, I wanted to be affirmed, but I got lost in the eyes of others. Later, it gradually became that I couldn't see myself clearly, and I couldn't even clearly know what I wanted. I wasn't happy at all, I was empty, I felt like a walking corpse, and the rest of my life was just a step-by-step process for me. I went around in a big circle, and finally returned to the starting point. In order to stop this anxiety and live, I re-examined myself. If you are standing at the crossroads of choice, please don't be like me. A person can be happy only by doing what he wants to do, if he has enough to pursue. A person, only by being true to himself, can he achieve inner smoothness. The Bailey family was about to fall asleep when faced with math problems and writing. If you have something you love, go for it bravely. The road ahead is confusing, but it is also full of unknowns, and there may be unexpected gains. Of course, the most important point: hard work, persistence and forbearance.

Coming out of the air-conditioning in the mall, I was flattered to be embraced by this warm world, and my body temperature quickly warmed up. Along the way, there are young brothers carrying takeaways, workers unloading shelves, cars with double flashes on the side of the road, young people who have just finished playing football, couples holding hands, trees that fell on the roadside after the typhoon raged, platforms waiting for the night. The crowd of the bus, I walked quickly, as if a gap was separated from everything in this world. I heard the inner voice, you must do what you love, be yourself.

Good luck.
