Before going to the theater, all I knew about the film was its title. It really didn't surprise me in terms of plot - in simple terms, it's the story of how a boy who was bullied and the girl who saved him reconnected, and the wish was set in "One Thousand and One Nights" has already been played. But it's this old-fashioned plot that makes me feel a little touched.
The portrayal of rich and poor in the film is not bad, it is not just a matter of money, but a difference in concept. No matter how small and unpredictable it was, it is still pale and powerless in reality. Ding Siqi said that his future "sees the head at a glance", which is also the status quo that most of us face. But as an animated film, the director handled the difference between reality and fairy tales well, that is, the bad guys were punished, childhood friends were reunited, the company crisis of the heroine's father was resolved, Shenlong realized the meaning of life, and neither did the hero. Forget the original intention, the standard he ending. It will bring the discussion of reality back to the timeless "money is precious, and friendship is more valuable".
I don't think it's a bad thing. You don't need to take too many brains to watch this type of movie (this is not to say that the movie is mentally retarded), you just need to follow the emotional ups and downs of the protagonist and share joy and sorrow with it. After all, there are too many regrets in reality, why should a story not be complete?
