The Bizarre Journey of Teenage Spey

I don't want to close my eyes and brag about it, Genet's is too far from his radiant "Amelie". The film, as always, is full of Genet-style fairy tales, fantasy and high-saturated colors. Although the unrestrained and magical imagination is not as rich as Emily's, it is also magical enough for a 10-year-old child. There is also the beauty of the paradise-like pasture in Montana, the mother who studies insects and the father who is addicted to cowboys, and the sister who doesn't care about people loves tin dogs. All of this is almost perfect, fairy tales and beautiful, but it doesn't touch my heart after reading it. It feels a lot like Martin Scorsese's Hugo. The reason may be that the problem lies with the child. I have never liked overly mature children, especially geniuses. It seems that the IQ is surpassed by a few-year-old child, whether it is psychological, self-esteem or imposing, showing resentment and disapproval. What's more, the prodigies are omnipotent, proficient in machinery, fond of drawing and scientific diagrams, inventing perpetual motion machines, and evading the police by themselves to collect the world science award... This makes adults feel so embarrassed. If the film follows the way of "A Beautiful Mind", a shocking story of the growth of a scientific genius might capture my heart, but the film failed to convince me with such a hard core from the beginning to the end. Geniuses really have magical brains, or are adults just fantasizing about themselves. The film's preaching of the child's weak growth environment is also empty and pale. Is it true that a family's weird personality can really give birth to a genius, but instead cultivate a "killer" with a strong and terrifying heart that is beyond calm. Regarding the death of his younger brother, a 10-year-old child could face the national media live broadcast without changing his face and say "I didn't know at the time, I just asked someone to help", the mother couldn't see it when she said "you are not wrong" with tears There is the slightest fear and burden to come out of this child. It is said that this is a children's movie made by Rene instead of being made into a juvenile pie. The film lacks innocence and childlike interest under the appearance of romantic fantasy and warm family affection. Just a movie like this I wouldn't classify it as healing along with Hear Heaven, Paris Naughty, Dogface Years, Stars on Earth, Little Shoes and Chick Children's series, after all, under a Zhengtai's face, it seems that there is an uncle with stubble wearing glasses hidden, this feeling can't be cured no matter what.
