A 10-year-old child travels alone

A 10-year-old traveling alone is a bit surreal. The scenery during the journey through the United States is so beautiful, it is a pity that China is not on IMAX. As a "kids" movie, I don't like the sadness of this film. From the core concept of the whole story, it is not the way of French films, but very American mainstream values, about "family" and "love", and seeing the title, director, and production country at the beginning are somewhat inconsistent. If you don’t get on the account, you think you have the wrong movie. If you don’t read the introduction, you definitely think it’s an American movie.

Probably in the early viewing process, "Angel Emily" left a deep impression, and I always felt that this film was a bit stiff. "The Long Engagement" and "Play Now" are also better than this one.

I love Jeunet, he makes me believe forever, which is why my cat is named Jean-Pierre Friedhorn.

The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet quotes

  • Layton: Angela Ashworth says AIDS are bad and I probably have them.

Layton: Well! Next time, you just tell Angela Ashworth, just because she feels insecure about being a little girl in a society that puts an inordinate amount of pressure on women to live up to some physical standard, it doesn't mean that she has to take out her misplaced self loathing on a nice little boy like you. You may be an inherent part of the problem, but certainly doesn't mean you have AIDS.

Layton: I'm not sure I can remember all that.

Dr. Clair, Mother: Well, then just tell her... she's fat.

    Layton: OK.

  • Father: [Spoiler] So I'm mute, and I'm dead?
