belated justice is called thanks

After reading "The Gift of Room 7", I am so envious that Long Jiu has such a group of kind people beside him.

Prisons are an important part of the state apparatus. Most of our comments on him should be bloody, violent, and even dirty. But Room 7 made us a lovely place like a fairytale castle. The heart that would have been shackled was opened again here. All thanks to that special "gift" from Room 7. In fact, I really want to focus on talking about the character of the section chief. In the front, the portrayal and transformation of this character are very full. After watching a few Korean movies, the section chief is really one of those rare characters with both humanity and reason. After rescued the section chief from Longjiu, it is really admirable that the section chief is willing to change his attitude and re-analyze the incident. Especially with several lines and the effect of light and shadow. For example, when the section chief went to plead with the chief, the section chief's lips trembled slightly and his eyes looked straight ahead. The light in front of him is the hope of survival for innocent people, and the shadow behind him is the pressure from the upper echelons and the power of the dark public. Bend over the darkness and embrace the light.

And the comparison between the section chief and the chief is also a very interesting point. As the plot progresses, we find that the section chief has actually experienced the painful experience of losing his son. But unlike the director, he still has a kind heart that protects innocent people. In the picture during the court session, the director and the section chief sit on both sides, implying their different choices. And the focus has gradually shifted from the director to the section chief, as if the audience's sight can make the kind heart of the section chief firmer.

In fact, the saddest thing is that in the whole film, we arbitrarily brought in the perspective of a character, and there is no evidence that can really prove Longjiu's innocence, and some are just our own subjective speculation. What's more, it was the director's daughter. With the arrival of the angel in the lyrics, what we see is the silent exit of the section chief. This implies that the section chief acquiesced to the next series of farces; it seemed to tell the audience that although the angle was different, he was willing to be the "angel" who protected Long Jiu and even Yisheng.

Looking back on the whole film now, I am most moved. In fact, it was the scene where Ye Seung went to find his father's cellmate when he was an adult. Even at the beginning of the movie, I felt ignorant and harsh, but in retrospect after watching the whole movie, these criminals who were seen as "extremely vicious" in the eyes of others still sincerely protect that lovely friend, which really makes me cry. When Long Jiu was declared innocent many years later, the inmates of the year did not cheer like the others present. Because they know that this is what this kind person deserves.

In recent years, I have often seen a sentence on the Internet, "Belated justice is worse than farts." Is it true? In my opinion, belated justice is called gratitude. Because of the arrival of Long Jiu and Yisheng, the swindler Chun Hao finally put his ingenuity to good use; the intimidator Lao Xu experienced a lovely grandpa; the robber Shen Bongzhi heard the cries of his own children; The adulterer Jiang Wanfan became the most reliable person in Room 7; the black boss Su Yanghao actually started to learn writing, or it may be because he missed Yisheng, he became a priest who believed in Jesus after being released from prison (in Korean Zhong Yisheng's pronunciation is like Jesus); the family of the section chief has also been rebuilt; if it wasn't for Long Jiu's kindness that influenced Yisheng, I shouldn't believe how a child who witnessed the unjust death of his father would have grown up. Professor Luo Xiang, a well-known doctor of law, once said, "Justice delayed is better than never." But I still hope that there can be less belated justice in this society. Let more people dare to uphold timely justice, and bring timely justice to more people in this society. PEACE & LOVE
