I don’t know why the Indian audience is so angry. A hero in a sense, although he finally made a heroic deed, he did it under forced and involuntary circumstances. The male protagonist always thinks about running away. In the film, the male protagonist's first betrayal , which almost caused the death of the leader of the true heroic anti-British organization "Azad" (played by Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Even at the end of the film, the male protagonist did not change from an ordinary person to a hero. Instead, he stole a boat and planned to go to the British mainland. It seemed that he was going to Britain to deceive the British and avenge the oppressed Indian people. This kind of character is in contrast to the tastes of Indian audiences. Think about the two highest-grossing films in Indian film history, and you can see the tastes of Indian audiences. It is understandable why he is so angry.
3. Aside from the interference of public opinion, I personally think this is an interesting movie to watch. The logic of the movie is self-contained, the singing and dancing are good, the actors' acting skills are online, and the special effects are excellent. Although the film is called Aamir Khan's Waterloo, this Waterloo is also relative to Aamir Khan. Personally, I think it is more reasonable to score between 6.5 and 7 points (6 points pass. 8 points are excellent. 10 points are perfect).
4. By the way, many people see that the IMDB rating is now 3.8, and they say how bad the film is. I saw a film review just now saying that the domestic Indian film craze was started by Aamir Khan. After this time, Uncle Mi did not. Another guarantee of "absolute quality"! The Indian craze in the mainland film market was started by Aamir Khan, and now he will slowly end it. To put it bluntly, I don't think the person who said this really knows how to watch movies. Personally, I have always admired Indian cinema. I have been in contact with Indian films for six or seven years. I have seen almost all the Indian movies that can be seen in China. I think the level of Indian movies is one level higher than our own. Even in the world, the influence of Indian movies is much higher than ours. This is a fact. I am patriotic, and I sincerely hope that our own movies will get better and better. However, this not only requires the efforts of filmmakers, but also the most fundamental and crucial thing is that the restrictions in related domestic fields should be relaxed. Otherwise, the restrictions will be too high, and our films will only be moaning, empty and boring. With the current domestic environment, we cannot produce filmmakers like Aamir Khan.
