Giant babies exist regardless of class

What is the theme of this show? When I watched the first episode, I thought the theme was just a mockery of the wealthy people who come to the island for vacation as a bunch of egotistical giant babies - as Arnold commented. After watching the sixth episode, I found that except for a few low-level characters who are at the mercy of others in this drama, most of the other characters are giant babies. Let's start with my most hated character: Paula. The title of White Lotus is the most appropriate for Paula. The character is supposed to be from a middle-class urban family, but can play—drug boys do it all, and belong to a cool girl with a high social class in college—or her social class is higher than her social class. She was a perfect match for her best friend Olivia: equally mean and self-righteous. The intrigue between the two eventually led her to declare war on Olivia and the superior family secret behind Olivia. At the same time, the story of his friend Kai made her feel that her revenge was helping Kai, so as to gain a sense of justice and self-satisfaction. In the end, he basically used his own power to force Kai into self-destruction. The next most annoying character is Rachel. This character does not know what he wants from beginning to end, because he has no opinion, so he is always taken away by others. When I found myself being taken away by others, I felt that I was not respected. For example, she couldn't afford to let go of her reporter job. The female CFO asked her to keep working, and she was ready to insist, but then she gave up after being opposed by her husband. She also had problems interacting with many people. When she came up, she told a bunch of her own stories. She didn't show it when she was offended. She just sulked afterward. The role of Rachel is sensitive but not smart: she quickly felt that she was becoming more and more passive in her married life, but she did not know how to change this passive, and finally had to quit. After talking about two giant baby characters, let's talk about a character I still like: female CFO Nicole Mossbacher. Compared with several other rich people, N is the only one who has completed the rise of social status by his own efforts. Although she is a bit arrogant occasionally, but generally speaking, she can not only work hard in her career, but also be a good wife and mother at home. In fact, the fiber of a normal society is built by many Mossbacher couples from different income classes: a lot of contradictions between each other and their children, exhausted but still helping each other to move forward. In general, the framework of the show is like a sandbox of all beings. The actors' acting skills are all good, but the characters' dialogue lines are rarely brilliant. For me it's average, passing grades.
