The ending of the story is happy. On the day when the little beggar was about to be crowned king, the true prince who had gone through a thousand hardships came back in time, and the two exchanged identities again. The little beggar, after experiencing the royal wealth of Nan Ke Yi Meng, still did not change his original intention and handed over the throne to the real prince.
It's a happy scene, but it probably only happens in fiction. Civilians suddenly break into a class far above their own standard of living, and may not want to come out easily.
For example, in the currently airing "Genius Gunner", Banker, a poor child who was originally from a poor family, participated in cheating under the instigation of Lin, and received a financial return that was greater than expected. It was the desire for money that made Banker quickly let go of his hatred.
Therefore, at the end of the film, he chose to continue to organize cheating, not suddenly blackening, but the social class represented by Pakistan prompted him to go in this direction.
Banker's choice is similar to Qi Tongwei's choice in "In the Name of the People".
Because Liang Lu used his father's authority to obstruct his feelings, Qi Tongwei aroused his desire for revenge to collect money. Banker should feel the same about Qi Tongwei's line: "If we don't give, the next generation will give."
Bank has no next generation, and his immediate need is to solve the problem of the mother and son's livelihood. If he does not give, the mother will give.
The film only gives Banker's mother two back shots, one bending over to do the laundry, and one signing the withdrawal notice. These two heavy backs can no longer bear the future that Bank wants.
Looking back, maybe Qi Tongwei's ending is Banker's ending.
Bank chose to organize another cheat, but it was assumed that it would not be his last. If he succeeds again, he is encouraged to continue cheating until he is caught. If he fails miserably, what does he have to lose? He can't go back to school, and he doesn't like regular low-paying jobs. He is very likely to use his superior IQ to find other ways to "make quick money".
Qi Tongwei's ending made the audience regret. It would also be embarrassing if Bank went the same way. As ordinary people, we sincerely hope that these outstanding representatives of children from poor families can make a difference for us.
