Laurence Anyways--Emotion And Story That Come Naturally

I enjoyed the quarrel between the characters very much and found it very interesting. The words are the real feelings of the characters, not their disorderly venting. The two people shout out their hearts, which is the real communication. And only real communication moves the story forward.

I also admire the amazing photography and colors in this movie. Several symmetrical shots that focus on the faces of the characters look like paintings. The coordination of clothes and makeup and the amazing fusion of the characters and the wallpaper behind them are quite wonderful.

The strong red light in the tavern, which shows the inner anger of the man who was buried in writing, and the frantic and fierce fight between the two men, is also suitable in this blood-like red light. A yellow light full of anxiety and fear hit the back of her neck, against the red hair and the shadowy profile, and a burst of energy hit the heart.

And of course, the soundtrack, which made me feel the experience outside of the camera work, like another form of expression of the director's intentions. Hearing and vision are received separately, and together they form a complex taste. I think the 160-minute film is very good. I can't understand those directors who give up emotional accumulation for the sake of film length. Looking at this film as a whole, I just feel that the emotional changes are very subtle, real, and smooth. Thanks to this long process of change, I can easily understand anyone's state of mind and therefore enjoy their emotional expression during a quarrel. More than 160 minutes are worth it for the emotions and stories to come naturally.
