Everyone loves Brain Kinney.

Somehow, suddenly remembered Brain, my favorite Brain Kinney.

He's a sexy beast, he's a godsend, and he's not necessarily one-of-a-kind among millions. And Justin is my favorite too, but I'm guessing he's probably one or two of the thousands.

Like his pride, his disdain, his childishness, his humor, his dashing, his talent.

Although the ending was disappointing, I suddenly understood the reason for his existence. What he meant was blank space and truth. What kind of person is Brain, he is a real mature adult who knows the importance of career to a man, and will never leave the possibility of making Justin angry. He is a little selfish, but who is not selfish, he will fight back angrily when his bottom line is touched. He let go because he really loved Justin, really cared, cared, and knew that Justin was a bird with bright feathers and couldn't be trapped in a cage. He trusted his feelings. Although it may be a little distrustful of Justin, after all, he is too young, and the outside world is infinitely tempting.

But I am sure they will be together.

I wish their relationship no more twists and turns, may their life be smooth, and may they grow old together.

Even if they become old men, they are the most charming, the cutest, the most graceful old men.

Recalling those past, a little bit is the reason why I love him.

Brain Kinney, my favorite man.

Queer as Folk quotes

  • [Justin's making the wedding seating chart while he and Brian are talking about Gus moving]

Justin: Y'know, you amaze me. He's your son and you're acting like you don't give a shit.

Brian: They're his parents, not me. I'm just...

Justin: An uncredited guest appearance, I know. You should give yourself more credit. I see how you are when you're with him, it's like nobody else on earth exists. And the way he looks at you...

Brian: Y'know, I don't think you should seat your mom's boyfriend next to Debbie unless you're trying to scare him away.

Justin: Would you listen to me? Are you listening?

    Brian: Yeah, I'm listening.

Justin: You are not your father. You love your son. Now what's it gonna take for you to admit it, another bomb?

  • [Brian doesn't want Gus to move to Canada]

Brian: He's not the only one I'm going to be losing. I don't want you to go, Wendy.

    Lindsay: I have to, Peter.
