Boy II Man

Before meeting Brian, Justin was still a naive Justin, but after that, he tried his best.
Brian was a bohemian Brian before he met Justin, and he hasn't changed since then.

A sexy animal who has been on the Liberty Avenue for many years, never thought that in that 419, he could meet someone he was willing to dedicate to.
Deb once said that Brian was God's angel for gays - even though the angel was dirty and awkward. This angel has stayed in the world for so long, and the soul has no companion, and God has some mercy on him, so he has Justin.

After their first night at Brian's Loft, Brian said to Justin who wanted to see him again: "U can see me in your dreams". Justin watched him go, then said to his friend, "I just the face of god." He didn't know how much his god would change his life.
Brian said there was no love in his dictionary, only fuck. But what Justin's sensitive and persistent mind needs most is this simple-pronounced word. Countless people around him told him that he wanted to get Brian--that's impossible. But he still tried his best to cooperate with Brian's life, slowly trying to get used to the emotional way of separation. Trying to be a fuck around but love the one, Justin Taylor.

When he first fell in love with Brian, every time he watched him and passers-by entangle on the aqua blue bed of the Loft, he would endure the choking in his throat. But I don't know since when, our little sunshine is no longer jealous. He can smile and watch lovers and others do what is closest to him in the world. It was as if he was completely unaware of the sight in front of him, yes, unaware.

Brian hated all straight people's way of life, like getting married, having children, committing. He separates love and sex so clearly that he even gave a male prostitute with a red ribbon as a gift on his lover's birthday. So Justin knew that he could never wait for this man to say love to him. But he just couldn't stop thinking about a promise. What's more, jealousy is something that eats the soul, so he decided to leave and find his love.

He has a new lover, Ethan. This person will wake up in the morning with I love you as a greeting, promising to give him a lifetime of warmth. Justin was almost drunk. The feeling of being loved is more moving than all the spirits and marijuana he's tried. So it's more painful when you wake up. When he found out that all the roses couldn't hide the fact that he was deceived, he began to miss Brian's seemingly cruel treatment, at least that person didn't hide it from him.

Maybe he never really wanted to leave Brian, so he tried his best to re-enter his life, telling him he wanted to come back. And Brian, who was rarely depressed during those days, finally welcomed him with open arms. They got back together.

And after that? They will still quarrel for one reason or another, and the two of them will continue to move forward in the wind and rain. But Justin heard Brian say "I love you" to him after all. Then came the marriage proposal that made me feel like shit. It seems that everything is going to end like this. Who would have thought that the screenwriter made a big joke at this time.

They eventually separated from each other out of love for each other. Maybe Justin wanted to make himself someone who matched Brian in terms of ability and status, maybe they both had too much faith in each other. Anyway, at the end of the story, Brian is writhing on the high platform of Babylon as if this boy Justin had never been in his life in the first episode.

Every protagonist in the play got Happy Ending. Only my favorite Brian & Justin came to a bloody open ending, but fortunately the Korean people taught me that YY changes lives, and brain supplements save the world. Therefore, the two of them will definitely meet on the streets of NY two or three years after the end of the series. Well, it should be 2007. Perhaps they were in time to hold a wedding for which invitations had been sent long before the financial crisis came.

And then as the West Side Boys sing, Boy II Man, oh well.

Queer as Folk quotes

  • [Ted and Emmett are at a ski lodge, with Ted just about to blow out his birthday candles]

Ted: Every year I always wish for the same thing - a boyfriend. Someone to love who'll love me. This year I think I'm gonna wish for something else. The wisdom and maturity to realize that I won't find what I want by looking for it. Not expect someone else to give me what I never gave myself. That I'm not a half waiting to be made a whole. And even if that special person never comes along... I'll be just fine.

[Suddenly, Blake walks up behind Ted]

    Blake Wyzecki: Ted?

    Ted: Blake?

Blake Wyzecki: I thought it was you.

Ted: What are you doing here?

Blake Wyzecki: I'm on the gay ski team. And it's gay ski week.

    Ted: Right. Uh, you remember...

    Blake Wyzecki: Emmett.

Emmett: Yeah, wow, what a surprise. And Teddy was just about to hang up his skis.

  • Calvin: Pardon me, but aren't you Emmett Honeycutt, of the Hazelhurst, Mississippi Honeycutts?

Emmett: Why, yes I am. And you are?

    Calvin: Ah...

Emmett: Oh, my God. You're Calvin Colpepper! You were on the boys' swim team in high school! I used to go to those meets just hoping your trunks would slip off.

    Calvin: Oh, now...

Emmett: But I always thought you were, um...

    Calvin: So did I.

Emmett: So what do you say we go back to my room and reminisce about old times?

Calvin: There's not that much to reminisce about.

    Emmett: I know.
