Horror Cruise

It’s a bit more brainstorming. The end was inexplicable the first time I watched it. When I think about it, I understand it, but after watching it a few times, I can understand it. The heroine actually died in a car accident at the very beginning of the film. When the soul is still dead, she tells the god of death that she has a date and that she will come back to accept death after leaving the appointment, but she broke her promise and hoped to change everything. Sin, the hostess does not want to admit that she died. She wants to go against the laws of nature to restore her lost life and make up for the harm she once brought to her son. And all of this is destined to be impossible for her, and it will cycle endlessly. This video wants to tell us to be kind to life, to be kind to the people around us, and not to leave regrets. You must cherish the person in front of you, don’t wait to make up for the loss

The degree of terror is average. Once something falls into a cycle, it is not scary, just wait for it to happen. . .

The film is thoroughly interpretable, so don't compare it to Mulholland Drive. It is not an ambiguous, unexplainable mystery.

Triangle quotes

  • Victor: [pointing at a picture of the ship] Check it out. This is the same ship. This thing's old.

Downey: Yeah, 1932. It is the same. Here's where we boarded.

Victor: [reads name of the ship] Aeolus.

Downey: Aeolus. Aeolus was the Greek god of the winds and the father of Sisyphus, the man condemned by the gods to the task of pushing a rock up a mountain only to have it roll back down again.

Victor: That's a shitty punishment. What did he do?

Sally: He cheated Death. No, he made a promise to Death that he didn't keep.

  • Driver: Are you alright?

    Jess: Who are you?

Driver: I'm just a driver... No point trying to save the boy, there's nothing anyone can do to bring him back. So... Can I give you a ride?

Jess: Yes. Take me to the harbor.
