I just watched this movie. I have to say that Netflix is still very capable. Although the quality of many recently launched movies is "I can't bear to look directly at it", this "Kissing Pavilion" is different and very youthful. The film exudes the hormones at the age of 17 and 18, the bright colors, the young actors, and the ignorant youth-themed love story. It's really beautiful.
The whole film is very interesting, mainly around the three protagonists, Al, Eurasian, and Xiao Li. They have love and friendship. These elements are intertwined, making the story of the film very clear but very interesting, especially Ai'er's awakening of her love, in the last part of the film, Ai'er finally confessed to her close friend Xiao Li that she loves Eurasian, who is Xiao Li's brother. This also had to break one of the various criteria set between the two at the age of six, but there was no way, otherwise even a good friend would not be able to do it.
I think the most funny scene in the film is that Eurasian and Aire have sex in the open space under the big brand of HOLLYWOOD (Hollywood). It's really funny. Can this be understood as Netflix's "contempt" of traditional Hollywood manufacturers. And laugh at it? Ha ha ha ha.
The love between Eurasian and Ai'er is also very sweet. I feel that I have not seen such a sweet but not greasy love story for a long time. It is really very cool. I highly recommend everyone to watch this movie. After watching it, you can summon your inner desire to fall in love.
