Movie: Yellow Sea "The area bordering China, North Korea and Russia is the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. About 800,000 Chinese Koreans live here, and more than half of the Koreans work legally or illegally in South Korea to survive." This subtitle explains the background of the story and is full of mystery and attraction. Yanbian, Korean nationality, South Korea, when these words popped into my mind, I was thinking that the director is too good at telling stories. When I hear these words, it makes people feel very dramatic. The film tells the story of a Korean man who travels across the ocean to South Korea to seek revenge for his wife. The film is divided into four chapters: "Taxi Driver", "Killer", "Korean" and "Yellow Sea", like a classical concerto, each chapter has distinct characteristics and clear boundaries, and is closely related to each other and contributes to the flames. I like the realism of the first chapter. The characters and environments in the lens are simply social records without any filters. I like the psychological portrayal of the second chapter, tension, anger, panic, despair, madness... All kinds of complex psychological expressions are very vivid, and the wonderful performance of the male protagonist makes people feel very immersive. The action scenes in the third and fourth chapters are also very good. They are rough, cold, cruel, and brutal. They interpret the narration about "Mad Dog" at the beginning of the film very well. There are many excellent films in South Korea. The Yellow Sea directed by Luo Hongzhen definitely has a place. He is a very good storyteller. Of course, stories are sometimes not just stories, but also realities that we haven’t seen or can’t understand. Yes, there is life.
