Miscellaneous Talks on "Hessian Spirit"

What kind of situation the scenery in Sweden is like, you can get a glimpse of it by watching this movie. It is also said that people will worship evil spirits if they do not see sunlight all the year round. In Sweden, a metal music has become commonplace and has even become a country of popular culture. People openly worship some demons that make their scalp numb with painted faces. The protagonist of this movie obviously dismissed all this, broke into the tiger's lair and finally stolen his life. In the beginning, this evil god was a little bit merciful, and if he encountered a less sympathetic monster, he would have died long ago. The atmosphere in the movie is very good. I have read many film reviews and wrote about it, so I don’t want to say more. The prop of the scarecrow with antlers is also a bit interesting. One of his brothers went to bow down, indicating that this evil spirit will affect people’s minds. His other brothers are all winners in life. As a LOSER in the real world, he is in this forest. It has become the choice of heaven, perhaps because the mind is cursed. But I don't understand why he resisted. His so-called good friends feel that they are just friends, friends, acquaintances, and it is clear that this evil spirit still favors him! Is it because the male lead’s religious beliefs are contrary to it? In short, if I was selected, then I would stay, worship the evil god and enjoy immortality. Maybe because I thought so, I didn't have the opportunity to be used by evil spirits, and I don't like hiking. Many people on our side are still losing their lives because of hiking. There is no heroine in this movie. If it is forced, it is another outsider who worships evil spirits in that village. I said she was an outsider, because she was the only one in the village who could speak English. The heroine was also miserable. The hero finally watched her die. I don't know why the film party chose an ugly woman to act, meaning that people who succumb to evil spirits are ugly? If you’re more beautiful, wouldn’t you leave as a single male protagonist? This reminds me of the previous "Beach" played by Xiao Lizi, but in the end it all ended up unhappy.

The Ritual quotes

  • Luke: Why don't we go to... boom! Amsterdam?

Hutch: No, it's too touristy now, isn't it?

    Phil: All right, TripAdvisor.

Robert: I'm not getting off my head again.

    Dom: Tuscany?

    Phil: Yeah, good wines.

    Luke: No.

    Phil: Germany, then?

    Luke: Nein.

    Dom: Belgium?

Luke: Belgium? Mate, no one's ever been to Belgium by choice. What are you on about? What's in Belgium?

Dom: Beers that are, like, 42% or something.

  • Phil: [hiking in the rain] Oh, this is awful in almost every conceivable way.

Dom: There are some, Phil, who consider this character building.

Phil: Quite frankly, right now, Sweden can lick my bridge. Lick your what?

Dom: My bridge. Jesus Christ, the bridge.

Phil: Oh, you mean the perineum.

Dom: Yeah, the gooch. The bridge.
