This Jane is so beautiful.

I watched the 2011 movie first and then the TV series. After watching it, I would like to talk about some of my feelings----

1. The set of the TV series is very good, the interior of the castle is very Gothic, and the costumes of the characters are in the style of the early 19th century, which looks very nostalgic.

2. I think this heroine is too beautiful, very full of charm, especially with a smile that is not a smile, which is a bit inconsistent with the image of Jane in the work, so that when I met Rochester for the first time, When asked "did they feed you?", I couldn't help laughing, because the heroine is obviously well nourished and has a good life. She is not at all the thin, ordinary, ordinary Jane in the original book. She looks like a very tall lady. I've always liked BBC TV dramas, but I don't know why they chose such a Jane Eyre this time.

3. As for the male protagonist, I think the characters in the novel should be like this. Rochester is not handsome, and his personality is a bit weird, but he is not lost because he travels the world and has seen all kinds of women. I fell in love with Jane's simplicity and naturalness, but this male protagonist is a bit too restrained and rough, and it is not enough to express the subtle changes in his heart. Perhaps he is too ordinary against the background of the gorgeous female protagonist.

4. The TV series explains the plot very clearly, the clues are very organized, and it is loyal to the original work. In particular, the account of Jane and Rochester's relationship is well documented, and Adele's life experience is also very clear, which is difficult to achieve in a movie of one or two hours. TV dramas, because of their capacity, make stories stronger and easier to impress.

5. For the happy life of a prince and a princess in the ending style, the family portrait seems a little too complete and lacks ambiguity. Maybe Westerners don't know how to reminisce about the long, lingering beauty that lingers around for three days, but in the end, the two hold a child each, and the charming smile of the heroine makes it even more regrettable that they can't go back to the original work. To be honest, I don't like that ending, it's a bit too vulgar to deserve the word classic.
