The English title of the film is I've Love You So Long, the literal translation is "I have always loved you deeply", but in fact it is not a movie showing strong love, but more often it is a flat and repressed torrent.

I've loved you so long, Frozen River, Monster's Ball
all spend a lot of time in their films showing Alienation, giving people a sense of loneliness. I understand that the difference between loneliness and loneliness is that loneliness still has the need for companionship, while loneliness does not. Perhaps it is accustomed to and no longer hopeful, or perhaps it is the negative experience of past companionship that leads to disgust that exceeds the need. Negatives don't need to be serious, they just need to be bigger than needed. An independent and confident person may have only a few dislikes to deny interpersonal relationships, such as the male lead in Into the Wild.

The loneliness in Frozen River is more geographical, Monster's Ball is racial, cultural and social, and I've Loved You So Long is 15 years in prison and what it caused to her Prejudice brought to the heroine.

To be more specific, when expressing that feeling, all three films use electric guitars to show it in a post-rock way (the name post-rock is easily misunderstood, in fact, this classification is only based on the instrument it is played. Rock is like electric guitar, but it doesn't have the slightest connection to traditional rock in terms of music, but it's a bit like ambient music. This can also be seen in Brokeback Mountain.

The theme of the film is family relationships, how a man who killed his six-year-old son is reintegrated into the family after 15 years of prison life, so we can see a long series of close and happy big family scenes. Three generations of a family happily play with handcarts (healthy) in the countryside and eat together at a long table.

At the end of the film, the reason for her murder is finally revealed. A very mundane ending, but maybe like The Visitor, showing humanitarianism and being seen by conservatives as a propaganda with ulterior motives.

If you like movies about human relationships, or if you like the movies I mentioned above, this movie is well worth watching. If you don't like watching movies with no gunfights, no violent conflicts, no love, and no elements of desire, maybe watching this movie is like when I first watched it, I want to sleep.

Couldn't take my eyes off this sad woman. The quiet and indifferent face is full of sad life stories. We don't know why. She came suddenly, with a dust we didn't know about. We all ask why. Finally we all know. The grief of life is the need for an outlet to heal. Oddly enough, this downplays the grief itself. I'd rather not see her release grief that eventually nearly collapsed.

Every moment in love may be a lifetime. Time is gone, you are more eternal than me, dear, without you, there is no one.

Juliette Fontaine: Do you think others matter then - that one cares what they think or do? You were all well and alive! You belonged to the kind one comes to hate for the mere fact that they are there.
