Such a rich, generous, brave "male-beast" that beauty will naturally fall in love with

This French film is realistic and beautiful. But the plot is still plain and ordinary, and there are no new highlights. Compared with the original work, the extra plots that have been added seem to be a bit hard and superfluous; especially the awkward English dubbing is really unappetizing and makes people very uncomfortable. Might as well just play the original French of the movie! Or with Chinese!
The heroine chosen for this film is not as beautiful as I imagined and expected. In the story, their family was down and out at the time, and when they arrived at such a magnificent castle, they no longer had to worry about food and clothing every day, and they could enjoy delicious and rich food every day, as well as new and beautiful gorgeous dresses. Change it every day, so many comfortable, warm, luxurious and spacious rooms, and a vast, magnificent and beautiful natural environment outside. . . . . It's like being in a fairyland! ! It's a blessing in disguise! Even though the other party had the face of a beast, he didn't drink blood like a real beast, nor did he embarrass her or force this beauty to do something. . . . Is a gentlemanly "beast"! It is estimated that no matter who it is, if he stays with him for a long time, he will naturally develop feelings, right? Fall in love at last. . . .
In reality, there will be no such miraculous good things to come, fairy tales---like a beautiful lie, it will always be just a fairy tale after all.

Beauty and the Beast quotes

  • Belle: God of the forest. Let me go back to him. It is my only wish. My only desire.

  • [the Beast Catches The Merchant Taking a Rose]

The Beast: My gifts were not enough for you? Do you also have to steal what I treasure most?

The Merchant: I won't be treated as a thief or a coward. I am a just and honorable man!

The Beast: Who did you pick this rose for?

The Merchant: My youngest daughter. She is worth more than anything in the world, to me.

The Beast: Then I will give you one day to say goodbye to your loved ones. You only need to whisper the words: "More than anything in the world," to your horse, and he will bring you here.

The Merchant: I will not return!

The Beast: Oh, yes you will. Otherwise, I will kill your entire family, one by one. I will kill your youngest daughter last, since she's your favorite. Remember... A life for a rose.
