The world confuses you, but you still choose to be nostalgic

It was recommended to watch after watching Nightmare in Dongcheng. There are only four episodes in total, and each episode is about an hour, which seems to be quite fast. It baffles me, this world. I don't want to leave it yet.

A childhood father committed suicide by shooting himself, he had bipolar disorder in his family, a middle-aged lover died in a car accident, and his lover, Alzheimer's, later left him. What would her life be like for such a person with a personality flaw in her own right? Her own son would blame her, because Olive was always abusive and often hit people. People around her will only think she has no sympathy and empathy, a mean woman who likes to be cynical and unpleasant. But she didn't realize it, could it be her fault? She didn't realize it, but she unintentionally hurt a lot of people, including her own relatives and those who cared about her. For various reasons, she is out of tune with this world, and even bitterly "looks down" on love and "denies" love, because she has never experienced it or felt it. I don't know how to deal with it, how to deal with it, or how to accept it.

She's a nasty person, but a hateful person has to be pitiful. The third episode of Olive going to his son's house and arguing with his son is very uncomfortable to watch, but it's very real. Thinking of the old people around me and my parents have similar quarrels. She is not a qualified mother, but she deeply loves her children, but the way she expresses it is inappropriate. She loves her children more than anyone else. When her son said, "You used to beat me and scold me when you were young", "I'm not happy", "I'm always belittled by you", Olive once thought it was impossible, she even did it herself I don't know about these "wrong things". After the quarrel, she longed for her son to keep her, she longed for her importance in the eyes of others, and she longed to be loved, just like a child. As she gets older, she becomes more and more in need of company, but when there is no one close by her side, she will only become more and more lonely.

No one can understand her, the world seems to be her own. When she decided to commit suicide, three children saved her. She cried and cried, and her lost dignity was picked up by the three children. She seemed to have caught a chance to survive in this world.

Everyone is a lonely individual, this show is about Olive alone, but we are all. There will always be unsatisfactory things in life, but that is life itself, it will not be perfect and smooth all the time, even if the world is unfair, it is just what it is. As said at the end, It baffles me, this world. I don't want to leave it yet. The last Olive, said it was time to call her son, she never called before. Fighting against fate will never win. Since it is such a fate, if there is still something worth lingering on, then go on.
