On the eve of the EVA
Dragon Boat Festival, the WILL Animation Association on the East Campus of Zhongda University screened "Neon Genesis Evangelion New Theatrical Version - Preface". I went to see it. It feels good to look at.
-------------------------------------------------- ------
First of all, what happened:
I broke my foot and had five stitches on my right knee, which are close to the bone-like kind.
I went for a dressing change at four o'clock yesterday. Starting at 4:20, I walked from the school hospital to Juncheng Restaurant.
I arrived at five o'clock. Ate a bowl of wontons. Wait slowly. Eat noodles slowly.
At six o'clock I set off for D503. I arrived in fifteen minutes. As a result, there was no one there. Can't get in either. At that time, I saw the pouring rain outside, and I was leaning against the door, and suddenly I felt a sense of precariousness.
It was almost 6:40 and I finally waited for someone to open the door. And then played the handheld for 20 minutes. Finally started.
Despite this. But when I saw Shinji seeing Ayanami in front of the phone, I was so moved that I was speechless. It was all worth it! ! !
For EVA.

Then talk about personal feelings.
To be honest, what I saw at first was only a long-lost emotion. But I don't think it's good for movies. This is basically cutting out the first few episodes of EVA and merging them into a new one. Nothing has changed. And it's hard to have the ups and downs that a movie needs with this kind of patchwork. TV and movies are different.
But then I thought it was good. When I saw the attack of the 5th Apostle, I felt that the quality of the animation was much better than it was ten years ago. CG did a great job. There is a feeling that this is a movie and not a TV. More importantly, it tasted up in many ways. For example, changing some plots makes the movie patchy, with ups and downs, and a clear theme. A lot of sound effects work well together and have a very good on-the-spot effect. The soundtrack is also just right, even better than the original. Overall it's a good movie of good quality.
But the most important thing to look at is the feeling of the past. In particular, Ayanami's classic smile touched me very much. Many pictures have changed. Basically it's become more 3D, more beautiful, more realistic, more modern. But unchanged. Still impressed.
