inspirational story. A life supported by love, a person who draws sunshine in the dark.
I was really shocked when I saw that "German hospital", one by one, polio patients, frankly speaking, stuck in the machine like scallions. It's hard to imagine that a person can live in it, and would want to live like this... Maybe it's more of a life than death. Ironically, this is the most extreme punishment the Chinese say. This is actually a big proposition about humanization. There are many things in our society that people think ought to be to do it. In fact, they have not really thought about whether this is unreasonable, whether it can be better, no People think out of the box.
In the film, it is clear that the "rose color" shrouds our unimaginable gray life. Diana must be 10,000 times harder than what is shown in the film. A pregnant woman learns that her husband is terminally ill, and later takes care of the baby, moves, visits her husband, takes care of her husband's emotions, and her own inner heavy pressure and suffering. So this is a motivational film, not realistic. I can't help comparing "One Breath, One Breath" with "Forrest Gump", which are also inspiring films. The latter does not make people feel obvious "rose color", it is more simple, and the whole story spans more. It also feels heavier; and although the former is about a heavier thing, it uses a lighter tone to tell the story, and the soundtrack is the same. Relative to the conceivable "truth" of distressing, try to put a good sunshine on it. The side of the film is shown, and there is also the reason why Jonathan dedicated this film to his father and mother. It was very warm and moving.
In fact, for the protagonist, if there is no polio, his life is simply perfect, and the "winner in life" is well-deserved - the "famous heartbreaker" who fell in love at first sight, both physically and mentally attractive woman became his wife, a group of powerful, loyal and reliable A friend, a sensible and filial son, a big orange-red house with vines and a lush green garden... What more could a person want when he has these? Illness is a pity, but maybe it just happened to bring him that. If you give him a healthy life, there may be frustration at work, troubles in children's studies, various temptation and struggle, betrayal and dissatisfication, surrounded and disturbed by trivial matters in life. But I believe Diana and Robbin will not change. Just like Diana said before Robbin died: "You gave me a wonderful life." Robbin said: "Me too. But not quite like expected, is it?" Life changes tricks, but Diana and Robbin are always just them, feel the same feeling, love the same love.
So take life as it is, for the only thing matters is ourselves.
