In my opinion, the film is actually pretty good. A lighthearted fantasy comedy, why should it be measured by the standards of those thrilling masterpieces? The genre of the movie is clearly marked with "comedy, fantasy, adventure", maybe the effect of "adventure" is not very obvious, but the two main effects in the front are still very good.
Maybe there are some flaws in some minor details, people are always not used to big people making small mistakes.
