The plot, structure and expression are all fascinating

From my point of view, the rhythm of the film is very similar to Perfume. At the beginning, different teachers conduct different courses, the pace is very slow, and the audience is very careful to understand each different role. Then the tempo picks up gradually until the end. The fat teacher Hector depicted in the film is very cute. He loves the literature course he teaches, and even loves reading to the point that he is worried that his students will lose such interest. He is the epitome of everyone who truly loves literature education. , there may be some bad habits, but students can be open-minded and tolerant. Correspondingly, Mr. Owen is a very smart teacher who knows how to speculate about the times. He is very witty and very popular with students, just like a loser hoping that others will not go the wrong way again. Different educators have different educational methods, but they have all done it. They have to pass it on and continue to inherit. To each different student, the teacher can do it in a different way without losing the main direction. The film references a lot of poetry, making the lines powerful and interesting. Under the different interests and hobbies of the students, the vitality and ability of each role are vividly expressed. My favorite is the ending of the film, where Dorothy asks the students, if I die, will you come to my funeral?

    I do not understand. . .

Read poetry, literature, history, everything that seems extravagant and useless, all for the sake of one day, when everything happens to you, when others feel like the world is falling apart, you have the antidote in your hand.

The History Boys quotes

  • [Timms is trying to duck out of Athletics]

Wilkes: What's the matter with you, lad?

    Timms: I've got a note.

    Wilkes: How much for?

    [laughs]

Wilkes: I don't *do* notes! Get changed!

    Timms: Sir...

Wilkes: God doesn't do notes, either. Did Jesus Christ say, "Can I be excused the Crucifixion?" No!

Scripps: Actually, sir, I think he *did*...

  • Dakin: Don't think we're shocked by your mentioning the word "foreskin," sir.

Crowther: No, sir. Some of us even have them.

Lockwood: Not Posner though, 'cause he's, well, Jewish. It's one of several things he doesn't have.

    Posner: Fuck off.

    Lockwood: That's not racist, though.

    Crowther: No?

Lockwood: It's race-related... but not racist.
