The Sword of Kings is almost the same as Deep Soul and Son of God. In the final analysis, Deep Soul is still a top CG movie under the name of Final Fantasy, which was popular all over the world. But the moustache's stride was too big, and the egg was pulled. Because the real CG was immature at the time, and the story was a bit incomprehensible and too esoteric (I am anyway), it caused a setback at the box office and lost a lot of money (later merged into SE). The latter got a large group of fans because of ff7's classic and brilliant that year, and the birth of the Son of God is a movie made for fans. It's just that DVDs and Blu-rays didn't show in theaters at all (though they seem to have made a lot of money by selling them). But it's just for the fans, I can't understand the background of the story at all. Players who haven't played the game can say that this is just a gorgeous CG animation demo, a lot of settings and characters that don't explain the background of the story (the 09 extended version explained it), but in a sense, it can use gorgeous and beautiful CG has made many mainland players recognize the name Final Fantasy, as well as the classic characters of ff7 (in fact, it is possible to do a wave of publicity for ff7's core crisis and Cerberus' dirge).
Speaking of Sword of Kings, this movie is similar to the Son of God. Coming almost. To put it bluntly, it is actually a promotional film, and it does have many shortcomings as a movie. The background setting is actually good if you can understand it, but the story description is still the common thinking of Japanese animation (what the inheritance of the king, the guardian spirit) is indeed very second to the understanding of the domestic two-dimensional culture. Or it can be said that there are many things that have not been explained. It may be better if there are three hours? However, as a live-action CG that has only been done for one year, it is really very conscientious to be able to achieve the top level of this era. It can also be said that what it expresses may not only be just the picture, but also convey the charm of the game to the players. After watching the movie, I may not be dissatisfied with the unsmooth description of the story itself, but the destruction of the royal capital and the murder of the father and the king made me very much into the play. And Nyx finally gave his life for the capital, which made me feel that this trip was very heavy for the game demo. There are also full of expectations for the prince's growth adventure story (I admit that it is very one-sided, but as a player, I really feel it).
Finally, Final Fantasy 15: Sword of Kings isn't a very good movie, arguably just as bad as the current special effects baddies (and not that bad!). But as a promotional movie, it did succeed in attracting many players to buy the game. So if this movie is really broadcast on a large scale, the box office must be very high (I don't know if it can be repaid), but the score of this movie may be lower....
