Recently, I was watching Splendid Life, an Italian movie. In the play, there is a beautiful woman named Zuozhen. She has spirituality and is good at painting, which makes people feel loving, but she is locked in a mental hospital and endures electric shock treatment and discrimination and abuse. When they met again after a long time, she became duller and more neurotic, but still loving, and she watered dry plants. But as Foucault said, the so-called normal people and abnormal people are only the products of the construction of the human power system. Is it normal for "normal people" to inhumanly discriminate against "abnormal people" and torture them cruelly? But for a person, happiness is still pain, freedom is still bondage, but it is all the life experiences that one has. Zuozhen's experience may be too tragic, but she still does not lose her imagination and soars in her own sky. Just like the two protagonists in the film, they are not afraid to stretch out their brave tentacles in order to feel more of the splendor of life, although this color is not necessarily beautiful and comfortable. 2010-07-07
