I watched "A Dog's Mission 1" in November 2016. It was the first movie the giant panda invited me to watch. At the time, I thought it was just average and not very good.
After three years, "A Dog's Mission 2" came out. I still didn't go to the cinema to watch it. I just opened it on Youku when I had free time to watch it after it was released.
But this movie made me feel more impressed than the last one, and made me feel more moved.
The main line of the movie is very simple. The boss dog Bailey has been entrusted by the master to take good care of the master's granddaughter CJ, so in its endless reincarnation life, no matter what it becomes, he always remembers his mission and protects CJ, so With its own little power, it brought happiness to CJ, brought love, and reunited the family. Finally, Bailey, who has completed his mission, can finally leave with his master in peace.
There are two things that impress me:
- Bailey, even such an unremarkable puppy, is dedicated to his mission;
- Bailey and the master Ethan have always believed and felt each other in a heart-to-heart relationship;
I think that maybe such a script will not be so moving if it is replaced by a person. It is precisely because this is just a puppy that people can feel the greatest sincerity from life.
Equality and sincerity between lives can be perceived, just like a dog, a cat, a tree, or even a grass will perceive the kindness from each other, and can repay those who love them as much as they can, Therefore, see heaven and earth, see sentient beings, see yourself, perceive, protect, and love.
