Subverted the cognition of gangster films. If a movie tells you what is good and evil, it is probably not a good movie, but Chinese people like to tell you what is good and bad, what is good and evil. Thank you for being able to see the big world outside through movies, let your life break through the boundaries, and let your mind escape the frame to think about good and evil and human nature. Police and gangs, white and black, seem to be two opposites. Maybe we don't even know how we choose to become policemen and gangsters, maybe it's just an opportunity, and the road will go to two extremes.
Good and evil no longer have meaning when the police are cornering people, when the gang sees their only brothers. We're just there, doing what we need to do.
The most tender part of the whole film is the deepest brotherhood between Ding Qing and Li Zicheng. Even when Ding Qing was the most angry, he would turn to a playful tone to speak to Li Zicheng, while Li Zicheng was at the juncture of his life for Ding Qing. Block the car. Ding Qing said to him at the last moment of his life: "You are too tired, you have to be ruthless, so that you can live, understand?" In the memory at the end of the film, that was the only time Li Zicheng smiled happily.
Where there is capital, there will be selfishness and evil. This is the case in South Korea, and China is no exception. The new world, the world will really be new, will it really be good?
