The inexplicable second brush

#1. Two years ago, I must have had a bad English and could not understand the accent of this film. Haha

#2. The characters that are piled up with various symbols used in common American films. Sunshine, sports, caring for the family, a poor boy with artistic talent but being suppressed by reality (the male protagonist is too perfect), a little successful, self-confident, generous, mature and attractive male second, depressed and selfish and unable to extricate himself from life swept away elder sister. Their conversations are all based on molds. Even so, some of the conversations are written very deeply, such as the conversation between the two in the car after Geb came back:
-it's not like that, Shaun, you just don't 't get it ,ok? i cant just take what i want, my life is not like that.
-you'll never get what you want unless you take it.
-take it? you know, you and Gabe have always just been able to point take, no questions asked. you dont realise it's just not like that for other people, fucking igorant.
-oh, and you and jane just blame everyone else because you cant do anything for youselves?what do you call that?
After all, it's still a matter of "a person's lack of freedom is still his own problem". (Gu's family can't go far) In this film, the quarrel between Zack and his sister and the quarrel between Zack and Shaun are not written to the point of tearing their faces. There is always one person who takes a step back (for example, i just want the best foe Cody, and the other one will say, i want the best for him too, and they both sigh the fight away) but in reality the problems are often more brutal and fucked up. Because of this, the ending of the movie can only be a hasty ending, everyone is being so understanding and happy. It doesn't make people feel real or relieved or have any personal feeling. Any good film is based on being honest with reality. With this feeling, people will want to think deeply about what he is talking about, rather than bombarding with symbols like this to create a bondage. Repressed and released. This is why most gay films forget after watching them. They say it's not a gay story but a story about people. In fact, very few of them actually do it (at least don't use boldness or coming out of the closet as freedom or self-identity) Or any sign of a happy ending). (anyway ,i could be too hard on this film just because i think it's overrated)

#3. Women are truly the most selfish and terrifying creatures in the world, and their emotional needs can kill you. Even if my sister doesn't have a lot of roles, every conversation is either "Why did they humiliate themselves because they didn't reject you in college?" or "They are recruiting seamen, do you want me to say good things for you?" Give you a way out, and then feel that hey, you need me right? I really can't, i need you. I live a self-deprecating life and harm the people around me, no wonder I need a shelter. she really doesnt need to be homophobia to be repulsive, just be a 100% woman could have done the job

  • Gabe: So...

    Zach: So?

Gabe: Why didn't you tell me?

    Zach: Tell you what?

    Gabe: I don't care - at all.

Zach: I don't know what you're talking about.

Gabe: Okay. Have you... have you always known?

    Zach: Seriously, dude.

Gabe: Okay. The fact that it's my brother is totally weird.

    Zach: I know.

Gabe: No, like, really really fucking weird.

Zach: Alright, I got it. I'm sorry.

    Gabe: Don't be sorry.

    Zach: Don't tell anyone, okay?

Gabe: Okay. So are you going with other guys?

    Zach: No!

Gabe: I heard they give better head. They give better head, don't they?

    Zach: Dude, stop!

    Gabe: They swallow?

    Zach: Gabe!

  • Tori: Do you love him?

    Zach: Oh, come on.

Tori: Seriously. He's a good guy, Zach. You don't belong to people forever.

    Zach: Then why bother?

    Tori: Isn't it worth it?

    Zach: Yeah.
