Nine-year-old Lian runs to the street in a heartbroken after the death of his mother, where he encounters a monster named Xiong Che. After being unilaterally declared as a disciple by Xiong Che, he brought Lian back to the monster world and named him Jiutai. Two people, one is a grumpy master, who is strong but can't teach others, and the other is a stinky apprentice who wants to be strong but is very weak. On the road of continuous running-in and continuous growth, they learn from each other and become better themselves from each other.
