The End of the World, Grim Wonderland, this movie is pretty cold.
It's very depressing, how can I watch so many gloomy movies in a row, in the early spring when the heating is turned off in Beijing, it feels like it's worse.
The beginning of the movie is a naysayer. The opening song is particularly interesting. All the positive and warm words that describe home are harbour, and the antonyms used in it let you know that the protagonist has a deep heart.
Not sure how it's tied, but obviously can't be untied.
There's obviously a lot of evasiveness in the movie, so you don't know what's going on, you just feel it, and you never stop talking. It turned out that there could be someone, but it was his family who couldn't get close to him.
In the middle, I was sleepy and couldn't watch it anymore. Director Dolan liked the close-up shots so much that he felt like he was always sticking to each character's face, focusing with macro, and finally I fell asleep.
After waking up, I watched the ending full of metaphors, and I checked other people's impressions on the Internet. It turned out that the stumbled bird was a surreal shot. He never flew out of this house and died of exhaustion.
Yeah, the people watching are also exhausted. Who can recommend some drama films with tight rhythm, ups and downs, and do not need to mobilize too much emotion for me to see~
