This type of film makes it easy for audiences to have a "seven deadly sins-like" preconceived notion. And this movie has all the elements it needs in its genre—religion, so-called ritualized murder, exhausted cops and paranoid villains—and it has it all. But after all, movies are not as simple as stacking elements. Just like the same scissor hands, you can make "Edward Scissorhands" or "Elm Street", all depends on the performance of the main creators.

Originally, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse symbolized God's judgment on the human world in Christian culture. It is a concept that is not inferior to the seven deadly sins. It can be given a very deep extension, but unfortunately, the screenwriter seems to be more aware of the form of the concept than the content. It has not deeply excavated its proper religious connotation. The content of the whole film also tends to be formalized, which has to be said to be a pity.
