Well-structured, a story about a return, full of oriental charm, I suddenly have a strong interest in ancient Chinese novels, and it is worthy of being my favorite director's teacher. The second time I watch it, except that the narrative of the previous plot may know that the ending will make people feel manipulated, I can still feel the shock in the back, especially when I see something different from the first time at the end. The most sincere feelings are never expressed in words, and action pictures can make you think and ask questions while you are in it. Marvel at Mizoguchi's control of scheduling and depth of field.
