The structure of the story is simple, ordinary, and nothing new. The highlight is still Jackie Chan's acting skills that combine humor and wit with powerful fighting. Compared with his previous films, this film highlights the team more. Most of the heritage adventures are done by a team of three men and one woman. However, in the climax stage of winning the treasure at the last crater, Jackie Chan was still solely responsible, and the spirit of a lone hero was vividly displayed.
Although it is an adventure film, it has replaced one of the most exciting elements, love, with family. I don't know if it's because of Jackie Chan's years and his mentality changed. Love is passion, overflowing with waves, while marriage and family are still water, without waves and waves. Personally, I think that family replaces love, which makes the film not good enough. It would be great if the protagonist had a spark with the two little ladies of one Chinese and one law.
The title of the film is dedicated to people who are committed to recovering lost cultural relics. In terms of thematic expression, it is only qualified and unattractive. I'm losing interest in this kind of pure action movies, and after two hours of watching it, I feel like I'm wasting my time.
