I always thought that the bird on the cover was Nicolas Cage, but I didn't know until I saw the movie. His signature scowling love was unexpected when he was young, but he really liked this film. After watching the movie, I always felt that the two children were like two sides of myself, one was the dream self and the other was the real self. As you get older, your dream self and your real self become less and less able to communicate. Maybe we all have the dream of wanting to get rid of all shackles. The joke at the end can be understood as black humor.

The final accusation seems powerless. Only the content that cannot be told through the camera will be captured by the lines/The part involved in the war is very chaotic and exciting at the beginning/At the end, there is a shadow of flying over the madhouse/I like birds. What kind? They can fly . That's enough.

Cage has always had problems choosing roles. Obviously it's not his tone and he has to play it again. "Birdy" and "Weatherman" should be very good-looking. He played it like this.

Birdy: Flying is much more than flapping wings. A bird can flap its wings and not move an inch then when it wants to fly the slightest flick of its wings sends it up against the sky. You have to feel that air has substance and can hold you up. It's mostly a matter of confidence.
